Today as I was silently praying, “Dear God, please help me remember they are only little boys so I don’t lose my shit.” I realized I was curious who you ask for patience from. We have to drive you to homicide… Oh, I suppose we do. You gave us ten simple rules to follow. To summarize they basically say, if you wouldn’t want someone to do that to you or someone you love, don’t do it to anyone else.

Word.

Well, we blow up entire nations, we all lie about something, we are all jealous of each other, we cheat on our significant others, and not a damn one of us really puts you first. I know I sure as hell don’t thank you for that first breath in the morning. I know a lot of people blame you for the bad shit that happens. I don’t, I know when I tell my kids don’t stick that fork in the light socket, and they do it… I make sure they are breathing… then remind them and assure them, I didn’t lie and that’s why we don’t do it.

I used to wonder why bad things happen to good people… but even that had an answer from a parenting perspective. I know, I don’t give anything to my kids that they couldn’t make their way through with a little added effort. I must say most of the people who endure the bad are always an inspiration to myself and others. Sure, they have bad days but, mostly they are more alive than anyone else. They see all the little joys and smile through it all.

 You know… as kids we think we know everything and I am sorry I didn’t believe you did or at least that you made some poor decisions. So, from one parent to another, I won’t be judging your skills anymore. You after all did a great job with me!

9. My best friend is this total weirdo whom I absolutely adore. She is incredibly talented, intelligent, beautiful, and witty. I don’t believe there is anything she can not do. Oops she can’t grow a penis. I love her, she means a good portion of the world to me and I tear up thinking about my life with out her. Most people underestimate her, think she is going to put some debil curse on them and roast a baby later under the full moon, when looking at her… but she is to confident to care about that. Well, that or she doesn’t like them enough to care. 

26. I suppose it would be the desire and need to live but, the overwhelming fear of doing it. There are many things I know I need to change, the fear of doing them with four kids and no support from my family cripples me. 

32. Um. That could be answered a multitude of ways. But I will just leave it at: I like to look at him and he doesn’t annoy me with anything he does or doesn’t say, do or doesn’t do and is almost complete inaccessible for us to touch our parts together. Also, he is pretty amazing and the total Hotness!
